ABOUT
Alberta Directional Boring Ltd. was established on February 1, 2012 by Lyle Jeffries (formerly of Red Deer Directional Boring Ltd).
Our team has been active in this industry locally since 1998. We are a service company with customers in the oilfield, pipeline, and utility sectors. We drill in residential and farm settings as well.

We are located at 256 Burnt Park Drive in the Burnt Park Industrial Area of Red Deer County.

EQUIPMENT

These small compact drills are excellent for utility work, are capable of boring up to 4” diameter pipe and exceeding lengths of 100 meters.

Vermeer 36 X 50
Versatile all-round units good for utility work and pipeline bores. They are capable of a wide range of bores up to 12” diameter pipe and can exceed lengths of 400 meters.

Vermeer 40 X 55 (2 units)
Mid to large size unit with a smaller footprint that is capable of both larger utility and pipeline bores. This unit is capable of up to 24” diameter pipe and can exceed lengths of 600 meters.

Vermeer 60 X 90
Mid to large size unit with a smaller footprint that is capable of both larger utility and pipeline bores. This unit is capable of up to 24” diameter pipe and can exceed lengths of 600 meters.

Vermeer 100 X 120 (3 units)
Large unit primarily a pipeline drill, capable of most any crossing from short bores to complicated and environmentally sensitive crossings.
These units are capable of up to 36” diameter pipe and can exceed lengths of 1000 meters.

Large unit primarily a pipeline drill, capable of most any crossing from short bores to complicated and environmentally sensitive crossings.
These units are capable of up to 36” diameter pipe and can exceed lengths of 1000 meters.​
Each unit is fully equipped with a 3000 gallon mud recycling system, and are wireline compatible. These units arrive on site mud-motor or air-hammer ready so no bore is left undone.
